Built in 1864 and beautifully restored by Andy and Lindsey Lampard, it offers twelve uniquely styled suites, fine dining, private hire, and stylish treatments—all set within serene woodlands and gardens.

Our on-site restaurant, The Mill & Vine, provides modern country-cuisine with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We also offer freshly prepared, made-to-order breakfasts using locally sourced ingredients—from full Yorkshire cooked breakfasts to lighter, elegant options.
We’re proud to hold a 4-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency.
5. What types of events or private hires are available?
The Highfield offers exclusive hire for weddings, private dining, celebrations, VIP gatherings, and corporate events. Situated within the house and across seven acres of formal gardens and historic woodland, it offers a unique and atmospheric setting tailored to your occasion.

9. Are you pet-friendly?
Yes we are. We have a number of rooms and areas that are pet friendly, we offer pet stays and have a full policy please check under our "Pet Policy" section—or contact our reservations team directly for assistance. (HIGHFIELD)
